Bio-Test Laboratory now open to the public at the Aline-Chrétien Health Hub, in Orléans

Ottawa, February 9, 2023 – Bio-Test Laboratory Inc. (“Bio-Test”), a leading provider of diagnostic laboratory and radiology services, is now open to the public at its licenced specimen collection centre at the Aline-Chrétien Health Hub, located at 2225 Mer-Bleue Road, in Orléans.

This expansion bolsters Bio-Test’s high-quality, and community-centric specimen collection network, while adding enhanced general specimen collection and diagnostic services for Orléans, Navan and surrounding communities and residents.

The laboratory is officially open to the public. While laboratory services have been available at the Hub since November 2021, they were reserved for clients of the Hub who were already on-site for an appointment.

This expansion in conjunction with Hôpital Montfort, the main partner organization at the Hub, aligns with Bio-Test’s vision of providing excellence in healthcare within their established framework of specimen collection centres.

“We are proud to partner with Montfort on this critical endeavour of providing barrier-free access to patients of the Aline-Chrétien Health Hub and the general community,” said Asif Malik, President of Bio-Test. “With our state-of-the-art laboratory and this new site we can better deliver health solutions while advancing the way in which diagnostics are made available to Canadians.”

“Offering laboratory services to the community was part of the plan at the Hub,” said Dr. Bernard Leduc, president and CEO of Montfort. “It very much aligns with the Hub’s vision to offer integrated healthcare services under one roof, closer to the community.”

Details on the Bio-Test Laboratory at the Hub are available here.
