The pediatric clinic provides consultation services to family physicians, midwives or specialist for children from birth to age 16. It provides consultations for organic problems (e.g. asthma, constipation, reflux, failure to thrive, etc.), developmental problems (e.g. developmental delay, autism) or school difficulties (ADHD, Learning Disorder).
The clinic can take care of a child with complex disorders, chronic illness or severe disability. The clinic's specialists do not see healthy children.
A newborn clinic is also offered for newborns who require closer follow-up for jaundice, breastfeeding problems, weight control and for infants born prematurely. For more information, visit the Montfort website.
At the moment, the majority of pediatrics services are offered at Hôpital Montfort.
