Hepatology

Hepatology is a specialty that treats patients with liver and biliary tract diseases. 

This includes acute or chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, cholangitis (biliary tract disease). 

If necessary, patients with ascites can have a paracentesis (or drainage). 

This clinic is offered Monday mornings at the Aline-Chrétien Health Hub and requires a medical referral.
